Shanna Moakler denies punching Paris Hilton

Former Miss USA Shanna Moakler has heatedly denied claims that she punched hotel heiress Paris Hilton at a LA nightclub.Hilton had filed a police report on Wednesday claiming that the ‘Pacific Blue’ actress had attacked her at the club.
Hilton’s rep Elliot Mintz said that Moakler had shouted obscenities and thrown a punch at the ‘Stars Are Blind’ singer because she was upset over reports involving Paris and her estranged hubby, rocker Travis Barker, rumours that he insisted were not true.
“(Moakler) shouted a barrage of obscenities and attacked her… Moakler is known to be upset by rumours that Paris is dating Travis Barker. Those rumours are not true,” Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.
However, in an interview with US TV show EXTRA, Moakler denied the claims, and categorically stated that she had not punched Hilton.
“I absolutely did not punch Paris Hilton,” she said.
Susan Madore, Moakler’s rep, admitted that while the actress had “exchanged words” with Hilton, she was the one who had been injured by Paris’ ex Stavros Niarchos who not only shoved her, but also twisted her wrists and poured a drink on her.
“Shanna exchanged words with Paris. Stavros entered and said he was going to ‘hit’ and ‘beat’ Shanna. Shanna replied, ‘You’re going to hit me? I’m a woman.’ “Stavros then shoved her downstairs, twisted her wrists behind her back and poured a drink on her,” Madore said.
Shanna has now also visited the cops to report Hilton’s on/off boyfriend Stavros Niarchos III.
